Rumours have gotten to KTCVC through the local Conservative Electoral District Association (EDA) that Betty Hinton has recently listed her apartment in Ottawa for sale – it's almost like she knows she isn't getting re-elected.
But, Betty's Ottawa address is unlisted so people can't find her. So, KTCVC is putting out a call for information: do you know the address? Do you know where the listing is? Can you confirm this rumour? Email us at hintonout@hushmail.com
KTCVC wonders whether this means local Tories are planning to replace Betty with a different candidate ... the "silent majority" seems to be getting smaller.

We can only hope .Of course she'll be on the public teet for some time to come with her gold plated pension.Like anyone in Ottawa deserves that .
The Kamloops CPC has already chosen her as the candidate. They're won't be any replacing of candidates this late in the game.
As far as I know there only two MPs with published addresses in Ottawa, one is 24 Sussex Dr., the other is Stornoway. Most dipper MPs can get the public drive-by tour...that's as close as they'll ever get to either. Betty's boss lives at 24 Sussex. If you haven't been paying attention the latest polls show him (Betty) and the CPC in majority country.
March 19th is Budget Day. After 14 months the CPC and Betty Hinton have accomplished more than the Liberals (with blackmail of the Canadian people support from your heros...remember that beauty in 2005?)than the previous five years of thieving and corruption under Chretien and Martin. Since most of your supporters were probably still in high school then, they can be forgiven their ignorance if their sources of information are the poli sci and sociology departments at TRU and the local print media.
As the old saying goes..."if your sole operant ideology is robbing Peter to pay Paul, you will always be able to count on the support of Paul."
The victim mentalty of your base, that somehow their problems are someone's fault other than their own, is rapidly becoming passe. Grow up. With very few exceptions we create our own realities. Enabling incompetance and rewarding failure may work in school and the tenured world, but in the real world it leads to disaster. Canadians are sick of disaster...remember Harcourt, remember Clark, remember Bob Rae, remember Calvert. Economic disasters all.
Anyone who has children knows the truth of this. Most of us wish to live in a land of makers, not takers.
